Recipe: Stromboli

This is a great recipe that uses pizza dough, cheese, and cold cuts to make something delicious and easy. You can serve it without or without a marinara dipping sauce depending on how you feel. I love the way it looks and how quickly it comes together.

Ingredients
 250 g pizza dough
 400 g assorted cold cuts
 150 g sliced provolone cheese
 150 g slices mozzarella cheese
 10 basil leaves
 15 ml olive oil
 6 g oregano

Preheat oven to 200°C.

Roll out a pizza dough to form a thin rectangle, about 11"x13", on a parchment paper.

To the middle of the rectangle layer slices meat and cheese and then place basil leaves in a row on top.

Using a knife cut 1" slits in the sides of the dough up to the ingresidents in the middle then fold each slit towards the filling making a criss cross pattern over the filling.

On the top of the braid coat with olive oil and sprinkle of oregano.

Bake 15-20 minutes until crust browns and allow to cool before slicing.
