Unlike my other pretzel recipes for softer type pretzels, these come out with the hard tack shell of the outside and the just soft inside like you’d see in a pub. They’re perfect for dipping, game night, or serving as a fun side with a thick soup.

Menu: And We’re Back
After a very exciting (a little longer than a) week away in Lisbon, we’re back home and so it’s back to the menu grinding board. Honestly I already made a half menu for the time we were back and I really missed cooking and having control over what we eat and when. As freeing as it is to not have to cook, I actually mostly prefer cooking my own food believe it or not.
Going to a coffee festival this weekend so I hope that it doesn’t keep me up all night or something! Also we’re going to see Guardians of the Galaxy and having a dinner party at a friends house on Sunday so it’s going to be a busy one. Next weekend I take my A2 Estonian exam (the official one) so it’s going to be a super fun weekend and a study hard week.

Recipe: Basic Cheese Sauce
Super easy and basic cheese sauce that produces a really delicious and non-Velveeta semi-liquid for all your cheese sauce purposes. Good for casseroles, vegetables, mac and cheese, and even my preferred usage: nachos!

Bento: #8
I’ve gotten in to a pretty nice groove with making lunches these past two months. I feel like I do it really well and this is probably also the most consistent I’ve ever packed lunches that were unique in my life. In college I often packed the same thing for 2-3 days out of the week because of time contrast and here the only problem is storage space (it’s always something).
