A super basic pancake recipe where the batter take just a minute or two to come together with things you probably have hanging around the house on any morning that you find yourself in need of a little bread that is kind of also cake-like.
Pancakes
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar then make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and butter and stir until mixed.
Over medium heat, melt butter in a frying pan and once hot, pour about 1/4-1/3 cup batter in to the pan.
Flip when sides have stiffened and bubbles begin to form in the batter.
Brown the other side for about 2-4 minutes and repeat until all batter is used.
