Recipe: Scallion Pancakes
These are like naan on steroids. They’re very unassuming but they were super quick to make and absolutely delicious. I didn’t do a great job at pan frying but they still were crispy and crunchy and completely satisfying. I made the dough the night before and then fried them up in the morning so that’s an option if you’re a little low on time or you like to last minute cook in the morning.
Scallion Pancake

Ingredients
200gflour
½tspbullion powder
125mlwater
4green onions, chopped roughly
oil, for frying
Directions

Mix all of the ingredients except the oil together in a bowl until it forms a dough. Add a little more flour or water until the dough pulls away from the bowl.

Add a small amount of oil (or butter) in a frying pan over fairly hot heat.

Take a fist sized piece of dough out, using a rolling pin or your hand flatten the pancake to a circle 1/8" width.

Transfer the pancake into the pan and fry each side of the pancake to a light golden brown, about 1 minute.

Add oil (or butter) and repeat until dough is completely used.
