Bento: Wild Bentos

I haven’t made very many pretty bentos but I have been much better about packing lunches and cooking food ahead of time. Part of the problem is that you have to wash the bento every single day which doesn’t always happen due to laziness. Anyway, here are two nice ones from last week.

Very simple gyro salad with a yogurt-cucumber sauce on the side.

This one is a bit fancy looking isn’t it? Lemon-Pepper Cod, rice, tomatoes and baked spinach.

Hopefully I keep making them this week!

Bento: Breakfast, Greek, and Dinner

Made 5, took pictures of 3 which is pretty good. Little blurry but I’ve been taking them as we rush out the door for work. Probably not the best time!

Contents: Pancakes, strawberry yogurt, fruit salad

Contents: Greek salad w/ grilled chicken, side of greek salad dressing (yogurt-sour cream with dill and cucumber sauce)

Contents: Couscous with grilled spinach, feta cheese and crackers, grapes

Next week we’ll work on less blur (and maybe less time crunch!)

Bento: A Bit of an Off Week

Still working on making these the night before but work is really hectic this time of year so even though I made lunch every day didn’t take a picture of quite as many as I made. Oh well still very good!

Salad w/ blue cheese dressing, cheesy couscous, and an orange

Hopefully more pictures next week!

Bento: Tiffin World

Oh blogging in November is tough but without the CSA anymore its even worse!

Andrew and I are still adjusting to our new work routine but it does mean more lunch packing. Here are a the tiffins from this week (today was a boring sandwich day).
