Shaped Crackers
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with ungreased parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl blend together flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and then cut in the butter until a raggedy dough starts to form.
To the dough add the oil and water slowly and mix until a dough ball forms, making sure to blend up all the flour. Let dough rest for at least 15 minutes.
When ready, flour a flat surface and roll out the dough to desired thickness and then cut your shapes by hand or with a floured cookie cutter.
Bake the dough for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown and then immediately brush each cracker with melted butter and allow to cool before consuming.
