One Pot Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
 2 cups elbow shaped macaroni
 2 cups milk
 ½ tbsp butter
 ½ tsp ground mustard
 1 tsp salt
 ¼ tsp nutmeg
 ½ tsp paprika
 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
 black pepper

Put all the ingredients except for the cheese in a pot in the stove.

Cook the mixture over medium and do not leave the stove. Once it starts to simmer turn the heat down to low to finish cooking (about 10-15 minutes until milk is completely absorbed).

If the macaroni isn't fully cooked at this point add more milk and continue to cook (I add a small amount, maybe 1/8c heavy cream at this point and let it cook another 3 minutes).

Take off the heat, stir in the cheese and let it sit for 5 minutes then mix one final time before serving.
