Recipe: Onion Chutney

A delicious, cheap, and dead simple chutney that makes the perfect condiment for breads, sandwiches, burgers, or even as a dip for crackers and chips!

Ingredients
 1 onion, chopped
 2 jalapenos or other small chilies, chopped
 1 tbsp oil
 1 tsp mustard powder
 2 tsp curry powder
 paprika, cumin, turmeric, and fennel, to taste
 ¼ tsp tamarind paste
 salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Heat a oil in a saucepan until hot, add all the ingredients and saute until the onions are cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.

Switch off the flame, add the tamarind piece and stir to combine.

After it's cooled add a small amount of salt and water and blend until smooth and adjust seasoning as desired.
